Saturday's snow has us thinking ahead to winter weather. Is your family prepared for the possibility of Late Starts or Remote Learning Days? This week, we'll highlight everything you need to know to prepare for changes in the school day caused by weather.


"I have a passion for working with numbers," says Bryn Fleming, the first recipient of the "See the Vision" award for the 2023-2024 school year. A senior at Jefferson High School and CTE student, Bryn is currently enrolled in the Academy of Finance Program with a focus on Accounting. Her aspirations are set on becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and she is exploring potential post-secondary education opportunities at the University of South Dakota and the University of Nebraska.
Mrs. Brunken, Bryn's teacher, has high praise for her student, foreseeing a bright future in the financial realm. "Bryn serves as a role model, offering valuable assistance to her peers, posing insightful questions, establishing meaningful connections with the business world, and embracing the challenges of excelling as a business student," Mrs. Brunken affirmed.
Congratulations to Bryn on achieving our first "See the Vision" award this school year!

Aviation classes toured the Maverick Air Center! Students learned how the FBO works and the services offered, the aircrafts that are found, and how much different a medical aircraft is from a passenger aircraft. A huge thank you to Maverick for letting our students experience this!




Small Animal Science went to Mini Critters pet store to learn animal husbandry in retail. They made a few furry friends along the way!

Premier Way is how a bank represents their community. Over 30,000 volunteer hours to help promote financial support.
