Human Services reaching out to younger students

The Human Services class has been making monthly visits to the Kindergarten and 1st-grade students at JFK Elementary this semester, diving into math, science, reading, and all kinds of hands-on adventures. Not only are the little ones thrilled to hang out with their "big kid" buddies, but our students are getting a firsthand look at the joys (and occasional challenges) of teaching at different age levels. Each visit gives them valuable insight into potential teaching careers—and maybe a few glitter glue stains as souvenirs. We’re excited to see what new lessons (and laughs) await in the months ahead!
